Welcome to the Essential Oils Industry Forum

The Essential Oils Industry Forum comprises 12 companies involved in the supply of essential oils to the market place. The Forum feels that compliance with the new EU Regulations for Biocides is both unnecessary and unfair for these products which have a long history of safe use around the home and garden and as a skin-based repellent for flies, mosquitoes and other nuisance insects.

Even within the UK, there are over 30 companies which will be severely effected by this imminent regulation - most of them small manufacturers - and many more involved in the production and related industries. This issue will have a significant impact for manufacturers across Europe.
